My research focuses on decision-making in partially observable and dynamic environments. I develop planners that leverage structured models and reason about uncertainty; thus my research also focuses on Bayesian statistics and scientific machine learning. Applications of interest include robotics and sensor placement for large-scale environmental monitoring. I am in the MIT/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) joint program and am co-advised by Prof. Nicholas Roy in the Robust Robotics Group (RRG).
